Bill Winston received his undergraduate degree (B.A.) in Virginia from the University of Richmond in political science and public administration.
He subsequently received the degree Master of Public Administration (with an emphasis on Nonprofit Management and Development) from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey, a school ranked seventh in the nation by US News and World Report.
At Seton Hall University, he was inducted as a member of Pi Alpha Alpha honorary public administration fraternity.
William L. Winston is a certified Professional Mediator, specializing in family and divorce mediation. He received his basic training in mediation and conflict resolution in 1994 from the Lancaster Mediation Center (Lancaster, Pennsylvania) and subsequently he completed advanced training in mediation and alternative dispute resolution at the Seton Hall Law School Center for Mediation and Dispute Resolution.
Bill Winston also has received the degree Master of Divinity from the Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia.
Bill's professional experience includes all aspects of nonprofit management and administration, especially in the areas of fundraising and development as well as the integration and use of computer technology in the nonprofit sector. He is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and of the Greater New York City Chapter of the AFP. He is also a member of the Philanthropic Planned Giving Group of Greater New York.
Bill has been a workshop speaker and presenter for development professionals in Philadelphia and in Westchester County NY.
